iCarriage AI

Customs brokerage & freight forwarding

Every shipment, from intake to entry, in one system.

iCarriage replaces the email thread, the spreadsheet and the ten browser tabs. One intake form, ten carriers quoted in parallel, and compliance screened before you approve — with an audit trail on every decision.

  • Ten ocean carriers in one search
  • Screening and ISF timing built in
  • Audit trail on every decision

The problem

The shipment isn't slow. The handoffs are.

Nothing in a forwarding file takes long on its own. The delay is in the gaps — waiting on a rate, re-keying a booking, discovering a screening hit after you've quoted.

Re-keying

The same data, entered four times

Customer email to spreadsheet, spreadsheet to carrier portal, portal confirmation back to your TMS, TMS to the entry packet. Every hop is a chance to transpose a container number.

Serial work

Rates gathered one tab at a time

Ten carrier portals, ten logins, ten different rate formats — and by the time the last quote lands the first one has expired.

Rework

Compliance found last

A denied-party hit or a missed ISF window discovered after the quote has gone out means the whole file gets re-done, and the customer hears about it from you.

How it works

Four steps, one file, no re-typing.

  1. 01

    Structured intake, once

Your customer fills one form — parties, commodity, incoterm, ports, dates, documents. Or drop the booking confirmation PDF in and let the parser fill it. No more re-keying the same shipment out of an email chain.

  2. 02

    Ten carriers, one search

Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, COSCO, Evergreen, ONE, HMM, Yang Ming and ZIM quoted in parallel. Ranked by value, price, transit or reliability, with the published tariff charges already in the all-in price.

  3. 03

Review with the checks already done

An eight-step review panel with OFAC and denied-party screening, ISF timing, HTS classification you can override, and first-sale valuation — surfaced before you approve, not after.

  4. 04

    Hand off clean

A pre-filled Magaya draft, a House B/L, an itemized freight invoice, and an immutable audit trail of every decision and who made it.

What's inside

Built for the way a licensed broker actually works.

Not a generic pipeline tool with freight labels. Every module below exists because a step in the NVOCC operating procedure needed it.

Quoting

Multi-carrier rate search

Parallel RFQs across ten ocean carriers with reliability scoring. All-in pricing includes BLPC per bill of lading and SED where an AES filing applies — itemized, because OSRA 2022 requires every charge be disclosed.

Compliance

Screening before approval

OFAC SDN, BIS Denied Persons and Entity List, EU consolidated and UN Security Council lists. Near-matches escalate for supervisor acknowledgement; a confirmed hit blocks approval outright.

Compliance

ISF and deadline tracking

A live countdown on the 24-hour ISF filing window, plus predictive ETA with port congestion and demurrage risk so you see the problem while you can still act on it.

Classification

HTS with your override on record

AI proposes a classification and duty scenarios; you accept or override. Both the suggestion and your decision are written to the audit log, so the file shows the licensed broker's judgement.

Documents

Parse, don't re-type

Booking confirmations from ten carriers, commercial invoices and packing lists are read on upload and mapped onto the shipment. The document stays attached to the file it came from.

AI

A copilot that cites the file

Ask about a shipment and get an answer with citations back to the specific document and clause it came from. Retrieval runs over your tenant's data only.

Money

Margin visible per lane

Profitability by trade lane and customer, quote-to-invoice reconciliation, and itemized freight invoicing with tariff rule references on every line.

Control

Audit trail by default

Every approval, rejection, override and document action is recorded immutably with actor and timestamp. Tenant data is isolated at the database row level.

What we don't claim

You are still the licensed broker. We're the system of record.

  • AI proposes, you decide. Classification, valuation and duty scenarios are suggestions that require your sign-off, and your decision is what gets recorded.
  • Entries are filed by a licensed broker. iCarriage prepares and validates the packet. It does not file with CBP on your behalf.
  • No numbers we can't show you. We publish no time-saved percentages and no testimonials we didn't earn. When we quote a figure it will come with the methodology and the sample size.
  • Your data stays yours. Row-level tenant isolation, and retrieval that only ever reads your own tenant's documents.

Measurement

We instrument cycle time, then we publish it.

iCarriage records the time from intake submission to broker approval, step by step, for every shipment in your tenant. You see your own baseline from day one — not ours.

Week 1

Your baseline first

We measure your current cycle time before changing your process, so any improvement is yours and provable rather than asserted.

Ongoing

Per-step visibility

Median minutes per review step, and where files stall — documents outstanding, screening escalations, or awaiting carrier response.

Phase 1

Design-partner pricing

We are onboarding a small number of brokerages as design partners. In exchange for the measurement data, you get direct influence on the roadmap.

Where this goes

One operating system across the whole move.

Customs and ocean forwarding ship first because that is where the compliance risk concentrates. The rest of the network follows.

Available now

Brokers & forwarders

Intake, multi-carrier quoting, compliance screening, entry preparation, House B/L and invoicing.

Next

Trucking & drayage

Equipment-aware routing, driver app and load intake — so the container leaving the port stays on the same file. Available today for carriers.

Later

Warehouse capacity

Dock scheduling and capacity recovery, so a delayed vessel becomes a dock plan instead of a surprise.

Bring one live shipment. We'll run it end to end.

A 30-minute working session on a real file of yours — intake through approved entry packet. If it doesn't hold up on your own shipment, you've lost half an hour.
